Yesterday, I struck off another one on my list! How about an ever-growing list? Separate the 'done' and the 'want to do' and continue adding on to both.
Went to the park in the afternoon
and each time I passed the guarded gates
I got breathless way too soon
my mind raced faster than my legs
Talk about being vague
but these images
these images here are so vivid
it's like they happened yesterday
I can't catch up
hoping you'll turn around
my heart it aches
urging you to go ahead
Right this moment
this very day
the earth shakes
and the ground breaks
From the comfort we lay in
coziness of our beds
the light on our TV
roof above our heads
We are like a millionth of an ant
watching and waiting and praying
not even a speck of dust
and we get swept away
